Kathmandu, July 4: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has directed the concerned government authorities to place high emphasis on the safety of citizens in course of the flood control measures.
Prime Minister Deuba issued this directive to the concerned authorities after listening to the voices of Nepali Congress district Presidents in regard to the recent flood-triggered damages in Saptari.
The executive head of the nation directed the authorities to remain high alert to prevent potential loss due to natural disaster including floods and landslide during the ongoing rainy season.
Prime Minister Deuba also urged the general public to adopt cautious measures during the period of crisis, shared PM’s Office.
NC district presidents from Terai districts including Saptari and Sarlahi drew the attention of PM Deuba on the damages caused by recent rain-fed floods in Saptari. RSS
