Biratnagar, Dec 9 (RSS): Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Dr Minendra Rijal has won the polls to the House of Representatives from Morang Constituency No. 5. Rijal was elected by securing 35,819 votes while his rival UML candidate Rishikesh Pokharel managed 34,014 votes, the Office of the Chief Election Officer said.
A total of 80,249 votes were cast from the constituency.
